Guys, help, could, HIV., freaking




Question by lyndz101787: Could I be HIV+? Plz help guys, i'm freaking out!?

I found out that my ex-bf may be hiv positive and could have been when we dated. I was on the pill so we had unprotected sex (stupid, i know that now!) I can't talk to him till tmrw and now i'm freaking out! I looked up symptoms and whats worrying me is that ive missed my period but i know i'm not pregnant (I read it can be a symptom of hiv) and i think i have some swollen lymph nodes and other symptoms. I know i need to talk to him and also get a test but i can't do anything till tomorrow and i'm scared :( One other thing: i donated blood at a red cross blood drive last summer almost a year after we broke up. i know they test for hiv and they tell you if the results are positive but is there any chance my blood would have not been used or not tested? i donated at another drive a week ago (i just found all this stuff today) if you have ++ results how long does it take them to tell you? i know I also need to call them to tell them not to use my blood and i'm doing that tmrw, too. help!
Yeah, i guess its rare that they would mess up on testing blood. Im just freaking out and i'm going to the doc tmrw but you guys made me feel better enough to get some sleep...thanks so much!!!
